Parapet wall is the part of the outer wall which is extending above the roof. This part is exposed to the weather conditions not only from one side – as a normal wall – but from both sides. They are often prone to rapid deterioration and weathering.
We know from experience that in most cases it’s not secured properly.
Parapets should be properly repaired and what is more maintained – seriously distressed can finally collapse.
The repairing can be in the range of tuckpointing of the joints in order to provide additional back bracing to the roof structure. In some cases, it may be necessary to rebuild the steel reinforcing bars dowelled into structure below the roofline.

“Mark’s Tuckpointing has a great staff that provides free estimates at a reasonable rate. They are willing to work within your time table. My wish is the the Condo Association sees things as I do. They did a great job!”

“Peter was very helpful throughout the process. Him and his team did a great job tuckpointing and fixing our condo building’s gutter. Their price was reasonable and they did not try to convince us to do additional work (like some contractors did). We were very happy with the quality of their work.”
